Jarrett Levine joined the firm in 2008 after earning his Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law. His practice area encompasses a broad range of real estate related matters including landlord-tenant, manufactured housing, residential and commercial property management, land contract forfeitures, foreclosures, negotiating and drafting commercial leases as well as reviewing and drafting residential leases. Jarrett also has experience handling probate matters, estate planning, including wills and trusts, along with claim and delivery actions, asset-purchase transactions, business formation consultation, debt collection compliance, and title curative and defense litigation for manufactured homes.
Since 2019, Jarrett has been on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Manufactured Housing Association. In addition, from April 2021 until 2023, he was honored to serve on a Workgroup for Summary Proceedings through the Michigan Supreme Court Justice for All Commission where he advocated for the rights of owners and management companies during the eviction process. From 2012 until 2023, Jarrett was a member of the Board of Directors for the Charlie Sanders Foundation Have a Heart - Save a Life. This Foundation raised funds and awareness to address and educate the public on sudden cardiac arrest in student athletes by providing equipment such as AEDs to Detroit Public Schools and making cardiac examinations more available at a significantly discounted rate for high school athletes with limited means prior to engaging in competition.
Since joining the firm in 2008, Jarrett has been fortunate to be mentored by many different professionals with a broad wealth of knowledge in their respective practice areas. In January 2023, Jarrett became the managing partner at Swistak Levine and intends to continue to represent clients with professionalism and zealous advocacy using the resources of Swistak Levine and knowledge gained over the years.
