C. Chauncey Hitchcock, Esq., a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A., Political Science, ’97) and the Michigan State University College of Law (JD, Cum Laude, ’00), has been practicing law as an attorney in Michigan for 23 years. His experience covers a wide variety of legal matters ranging from corporate and business matters to real estate, contract drafting and negotiations, healthcare law as well as probate and estate planning. For nearly two decades, Chauncey worked as in-house counsel for national and regional corporations in the real estate, early childhood education, automotive and healthcare industries with annual revenues of $150 Million to $2 Billion. He has also has represented businesses and individuals on transactional matters, probate and estate planning, and litigation in federal, state and local courts throughout Michigan and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Prior to his private practice, Chauncey served as a Judicial Law Clerk for Oakland County Circuit Court, as a summer law clerk for the Hon. Michael D. Schwartz of the Macomb County Circuit Court and as an intern for the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office and the State Bar of Michigan Bench/Bar Conference.

Chauncey’s broad-based legal and business experience and his innate ability to assess and work through issues and obstacles, keeping the “big picture” and his client’s needs at the forefront allows him to craft and achieve creative and desired results for clients. He leverages a wealth of practical experience gained from representing businesses and individuals on a variety of matters over the past 23 years and truly understanding the unique objectives and circumstances of each client. Chauncey prides himself on the personal attention he provides to every client.

Chauncey lives in Auburn Hills with his wife and three daughters, where he has served his community as a member of the Auburn Hills Planning Commission (since 2005), a past member of the Board of Directors of the Auburn Hills Community Foundation (founding Board Member) and as a youth soccer and basketball coach. Chauncey enjoys reading, writing, traveling, exercising, playing golf and tennis and walking his Labrador Retriever, Hailey. He has been a member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church in Rochester Hills since 2004 and supports several local charities.
