Swistak Levine Attorneys Honored by Peers

Swistak Levine attorneys Daniel S. Landman and Christopher S. Frescoln have been chosen by their peers as exceptional attorneys for the 2009 DBusiness and Super Lawyers publications. The honors are given annually to attorneys viewed to be at the top of their profession.

DBusiness, a bi-monthly Detroit-area business publication, named Swistak Levine attorney Daniel S. Landman in its 2009 list of top lawyers in the fields of divorce and landlord/tenant The list is based on a peer-review survey mailed to lawyers and members of the judiciary. Thousands of votes were cast honoring excellence in all areas of practice. Because the listings cannot be purchased, inclusion in DBusiness’ Top Lawyers is a singular honor.

Super Lawyers. Swistak Levine attorney Christopher S. Frescoln was selected for inclusion in the 2009 Michigan Super Lawyers – Rising Stars® edition in the fields of Real Estate, Civil Litigation Defense, and Construction Litigation. Super Lawyers, a publication of Law & Politics, identifies the top five percent of attorneys in each state, as chosen by their peers and through the independent research of Law & Politics. The objective, the magazine says, is to "create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys."

Swistak Levine Attorney Featured in Michigan Lawyers Weekly

I. Matthew Miller was prominently featured in an article in the November 9, 2009 edition of Michigan Lawyers Weekly, entitled “What to do with what’s left behind.” The article addressed the issues raised by Michigan House Bill 5034, which Mr. Miller helped to draft, to deal with the repercussions for landlords when a tenant dies and no heir comes forward to open a probate estate.
