Jeffrey K. Thomas
At the firm since 2002, Mr. Thomas is a member of the Property Management Section and also concentrates his practice in construction litigation. He has been an attorney for over 25 years and has successfully litigated matters throughout Michigan, including arguing cases before the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court. He has also successfully litigated matters in the United States District Courts in Tennessee, Missouri, and Indiana, where he won a $27.5 million verdict.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Thomas was in-house counsel for Anatec Corporation where he was responsible for negotiating U.S. and international intellectual property and service agreements with Fortune 500 corporations.
Mr. Thomas graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.G.S. in 1978. Prior to that, Mr. Thomas attended Albion College, where he played defensive back on the football team for two years. He graduated from the Thomas Cooley Law School in 1982, where he participated in Moot Court and in the Trial Advocacy Program.
A member of the State Bar of Michigan, Mr. Thomas is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
